Practical tools that start empty
and count what others leave out.

A small studio making learning for minds in motion, and trips that are worth taking.

About us

A small studio building Mathletix lessons you can hear on a run and Routed trips you can price before you leave, starting each one without the usual assumptions.

What we make

Two products, one habit:
question the default.

Mathletix

Learning for minds in motion.

In development for iPhone

Narrated sessions in mathematics, physics, economics, politics and reasoning, made to be heard while you run, walk or ride. If you never look at the screen, you still get the whole method.

Slides follow the voice, every question gets a pause and then its answer, and pocket mode keeps the narration going with the phone put away. No accounts, no analytics. Privacy policy

Mathletix home: choose an activity, a depth and a subject Mathletix home: the session list, each with its phases, length and audience Mathletix home: more sessions, from reading statistics to the road to calculus

Routed

Which way is worth it right now?

Early access, starting in Bangkok

Map apps show the fastest route. That leaves out most of the decision: is the expressway worth the toll today, is a taxi cheaper than ride-hailing, is the walk to the station bearable in this heat?

Routed compares driving with or without the expressway, a metered taxi, ride-hailing, the train and bus, and park-and-ride. Each goes on one total, in money and minutes, before you set off:

Ride-hailing fares are estimates; check the live price in the app you prefer. Routed shows the best option for you, all things counted. Free during early access with a monthly allowance: a web app now, iPhone in testing, Android to follow.

Why the name

Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form.

The line is from the Heart Sutra. In the Kālacakra tradition, "empty form" is a technical term: form that arises from emptiness itself. For us it is also a working method. An empty form is a clean starting state, with nothing filled in and no assumptions carried over.

01 · Start empty

Set the default aside

Mathletix sets aside the idea that study belongs at a desk. Routed sets aside the idea that the fastest route is the right one.

02 · Count everything

Include what gets left out

The listener who never looks at the screen. The toll, the wait and the heat index, not only the minutes.

03 · Check by hand

Facts before features

Tolls, fares and parking rates researched and dated. Claims in a session checked before they are recorded.

"The difficulty lies, not in the new ideas, but in escaping from the old ones." John Maynard Keynes, preface to The General Theory (1936)
Who we are

An economist's studio,
built with AI.

Emptyform was founded by Nyingtob Pema Norbu, an economist. Mathletix and Routed are its first two products.

Both are built by one person working with AI. The facts behind them, from fare tables to the working in a lesson, are researched and checked by hand.
